We have onboarded a new Executive Director, Ms Deborah L Fang.

CUPERTINO, CA After an extensive national search, the Board of Directors of the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Deborah L. Feng as the Chamber’s new Executive Director, beginning September 20, 2023. “We are thrilled to welcome Deb to Cupertino’s Chamber of Commerce as our new Executive Director,” said Board President Shyam Panchal. “We are all impressed by Deb’s unique combination of high-level executive, artistic and fundraising experience with her recent entrepreneurial approach as a performing arts advocate and community builder. Her innovative spirit, strategic focus and commitment to the Cupertino Community will prove invaluable as we continue in partnerships, collaborations, sponsorships, and relationships toward building on the mission of Business Advocacy: To Inform , To Involve , To Inspire our Cupertino Community.

Deb arrives at the Cupertino Chamber recently serving as a Managing Director of nonprofit community organization. Ms. Feng has had a distinguished career, including serving as the City Manager of Cupertino during the pandemic and civil unrest from 2019 to 2021. With a strong background in business operations, Ms. Feng was also the Managing Director of 3Below Theaters and Cafe in Downtown San Jose. Her connection to Cupertino runs deep, as she grew up here and attended local schools such as Lincoln Elementary, Kennedy Middle School, and Monta Vista High School. In addition to graduating from De Anza Community College and the University of California, Berkeley, Ms. Feng holds an MBA from San Jose State University, where she was recognized with the GOLD award for her leadership in the graduate program. As an Advisory Council Member of the prestigious Davenport Institute at Pepperdine University, Ms. Feng leads Public Engagement and Civic Leadership classes, leveraging her diverse experience in executive leadership in the public sector at NASA Ames Research Center and the City of Cupertino. “I’m honored and delighted to be joining the Cupertino Chamber at this watershed moment in its history.”

Deb is also perfectly matched for the needs of the Cupertino Chamber at this exciting moment in its history as it prepares to celebrate its 70th Anniversary as an organization and its 20th Anniversary of the Bay Area Diwali Festival. She cares about the business community and is a results-oriented leader with a successful record of transformational change, fiscal growth, and team building.
