Meets on the first Tuesday of each month in the Chamber office. Ambassadors assist the chamber in its membership retention efforts through adopting new members, calling on existing members, and greeting members at monthly business networking events and special events.
Asian American Business Council
Meets monthly on the second Tuesday of each month in the Chamber office. The purpose of the Council is to promote intercultural exchange, networking and partnership opportunities with other Asian American organizations. The Committee presents the Lunar New Year Luncheon and the Diwali Festival.
Education & Enrichment Committee
Meets monthly on the third Tuesday of each month in the Chamber office. The purpose of the Committee is to promote the health and wellness of students and families in the local school districts, networking and partnership opportunities with other Education-related organizations. The Committee presents the Summer Camp Fair and the Education Speaker series.
Meets weekly on Thursday in the Chamber office. The Cupertino Connect Club is dedicated to business professionals who believe in the value of effective networking. The goal of this Club is to expand each member’s business contacts through qualified business referrals and by delivering a superior service or product to our clients.
Legislative Action Committee
Meets monthly on the first Friday at 12:30 pm. At this meeting, elected officials, organizations, and individuals share information about priorities and programs. Community and business-related issues are discussed and, when advocacy is called for, the LAC makes recommendations to the Chamber Board.
State of the City Address
The City of Cupertino in cooperation with the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Cupertino hosts annual State of the City Address featuring Mayor of Cupertino. The program also includes presentations of Public Safety Officer of the Year Awards. These annual awards recognize public safety officers for making a difference. The recipients of the awards are selected by the Santa Clara County Fire Department and Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department.
Lunar New Year Luncheon
The Annual Lunar New Year Luncheon provides a great opportunity for you to highlight your business and network with all the members of the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce, particularly our Asian American Community. It celebrates the important role of the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce in bridging the cultural diversity of the Cupertino business community and recognizing the activities and participation of the AABC (Asian American Business Council).
The event also features ‘BRIDGE AWARD’ recognizing individuals and businesses who have continuously fostered the mission of the AABC in promoting, strengthening and enhancing the inter-ethnic business environment in the Cupertino community.
The Cupertino Chamber of Commerce holds an annual STAR Awards Gala to recognize excellence by Cupertino businesses and the Citizen of the Year. The purpose of the STAR Award is to recognize local businesses and citizens whose contributions have made a significant and beneficial impact on the Cupertino community.
The Cupertino Chamber of Commerce and its Asian American Business Council (AABC) proudly presents the Annual Diwali Festival of Lights in the Fall. This FREE event brings over 15,000 people to our beautiful Memorial Park, (Stevens Creek Blvd/Mary) in Cupertino, and is a showcase of multicultural music, dance, fun kids zone, workshops, arts and crafts, fun, frolic, and food. The purpose of this festival is to get together and celebrate the intercultural understanding that promotes economic prosperity.
